On the left pane of the System Information window, under Hardware navigate to SATA/SATA. TRIM Enabler from groths is a very small freeware program that you can download and run and 'flip the switch' to turn on TRIM. Click on the Apple icon (top-right corner) then choose About This Mac. So they do not endorse using TRIM on non-Apple SSDs, and thier software does not send TRIM commands to non-Apple SSDs.
